Much of the focus of Classroom Guidance is on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Below you will find some resources and games to help your children continue to work on this important aspect of their lives.
Starting in PreK 4, we learn a lot about how to identify feelings. By clicking here, you will have access to 10 days of SEL lessons which include videos, questions, and activities geared towards PreK 4- 2nd grade students. By clicking here, you can access 10 days of SEL lessons for 3rd - 5th grade students. I think that both younger and older students could participate in the lessons as well but may require more guidance.
A fun activity for the whole family is Feelings Charades. It's just like the game of charades we all know and love but using different feelings! I've included a few examples below but please add any others you would like!

All students are introduced to Kelso, a frog who teaches us how to problem solve, in Kindergarten. A fun way to incorporate Kelso into your time off is Kelso Charades. Just like the classic game except you act all the choices. There are 9 choices in total but plenty of ways to act each out!

College and career readiness is very important and I teach students about careers in various ways starting in kindergarten. Another fun way to play charades is to do so with various careers.
