The goal of the All Saints Catholic School Library program is to foster the skills necessary for each student to become an effective user of information in a wide variety of formats for both educational and personal growth.
Students will utilize the Library Media Center print collections at school, which include a variety of fiction and nonfiction of varying reading and interest levels.
Students will have access to technology in the Library Media Center, in the form of Internet-connected laptops and iPads.

Student Outcomes:
Through this course, students will:
- Learn to properly care for library books.
- Navigate the Library Media Center’s fiction section, by learning the alphabetical organization of the books.
- Recognize the parts of a book, including author, illustrator, cover, spine, and dedication.
- Appreciate children’s literature by studying the life and works of a particular author or illustrator.
- Recognize the characteristics of different genres and read widely within these genres.
Library Rules
- Always use a whisper in the library.
- Always have clean hands when handling books.
- Return books promptly.
- Don't feed or give the books anything to drink!
